Bringing a new child into the world is alot of work. Starting the recovery process as soon as possible in the most natural of ways is best. Having a kit takes the guesswork out of missing something or not knowing what is needed.
I have put together a kit that can help you and your little one get off to a great start together.

**Check with your doctor or midwife before taking this or any herbal remedy or tincture when pregnant or nursing and to find out if and how much of a tincture like this you can take.
**Lactation Tea for Nursing Mothers
Ingredients: Fenugreek seed, Dried nettle leaf, Dried red raspberry leaf, Fennel seed, Dried blessed thistle
Begin with one to two cups daily and work your way up to an effective amount for your body.
Measure out 1 teaspoon of the tea blend per cup of water.
Fill your cup with boiling water: Allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes to allow the herbs to infuse the water.
For optimal effect, work up to consuming at least one cup (8 fluid ounces) of the tea 3 times a day.
***Breastfeeding Balm
Ingredients: Coconut oil, Olive oil, Coco butter, Shea butter, Beeswax
Directions: Use a small amount after each nursing to protect, heat and nourish your nipples.
** Afterbirth Pain Relieving Tincture
Ingredients:
Vegetable gylcerin
Chamomile
Ginger
Cramp Bark
Yarrow
Motherwort
Directions: use as soon as you deliver.
Take 10-15 minutes before each nursing session for the first few days.
10-15 drops per nursing session as needed.
**Important Note: Check with a doctor or midwife before using these or any herbs while pregnant or nursing. I used this tincture after consulting with my midwife and under her supervision.
** Cesarean Recovery Spray
Ingredients: Lavender, St. John's Wort, Chamomile, Calendula, Distilled Water and Witch hazel.
Suggested Use: Apply to incision site as often as needed.
**Cesarean Recovery Tea
Ingredients: Calendula, Hibiscus, Chamomile, Red Clover, Red Raspberry

Let the bag float in baby’s bath water. You may also use the bag as a washcloth and give your little one a gentle wipe down with it.
